Portland So Far -

In a word, amazing. Lush, suprisingly sunny, delicious food and beer, walking and public transport to everything and new friends from the hostel. Win :} Voodoo vegan donuts at midnight? AHH, yes please! And a hostel that's in a beautiful historic house. This is wonderful!

Taking a Class on Feminism

Has made me realize that I am not a feminist in the generally understood sense of the word, and that while I think looking back at history with an interest in women's roles and the unwritten place they held is wonderful, when it borders on negation of context I find it to be troubling and rather irreverent.
